Frequently asked questions

Are meta keywords still useful? Major search engines like Google ignore the keywords meta tag for ranking, but some directories and smaller engines may still read it. Include them only if they help your workflow.

What's the difference between canonical and Open Graph URL? canonical tells search engines the preferred URL for indexing; og:url tells social platforms which URL to associate with a shared link. They are usually the same.

Do I need both Open Graph and Twitter Card tags? Twitter falls back to Open Graph when Twitter Card tags are missing, but explicitly providing both gives you the most control across platforms.
